My wife Gladys can best describe what we found, what we experienced and why she is writing this review.Profitness is different in the best way possible. In describing Profitness and Ken I'll focus on Ken but the entire facility operates the same way.Over many years I have needed physical therapy for a variety of issues including pulmonary endurance, rotary cuff problems, lower back pain. I have used facilities associated with hospitals as well as private practitioners. Based on my experiences I give Profitness a five star plus rating. I believe that Profitness works as well as it does because not only are the therapists caring and well trained but they offer one-on-one therapy for the duration of the session!A few shout-outs to Ken. Thanks to his knowledge and therapeutic approach both Stan and I were able to avoid Rotator Cuff surgery.Ken was a true life saver to me in his approach to my pulmonary issues. He devloped a regimen that I follow at Profitness and at home resulting in improving my lung functioning.During the beginning of the pandemic I needed pancreatic surgery. Using virtual sessions Ken guided me through pre-surgery, getting my body ready for pre & post operative care.Thankful all went well! As Ken says...."teamwork makes the dream work!". I am a physician in NYC for 30 years in NYC and so have worked with a number of physical therapists over the years who have treated my patients. I was referred to Scott Bedson for PT for myself by a very experienced and excellent Rheumatologist ( Dr. Mark Horowitz) for treatment of a combination of cervical spine issues that had led to chronic neck pain. I've been seeing Scott for a number of years whenever things go south for awhile. He is a quite simply, remarkable. His clinical asssessments, cutting-edge knowledge, hands-on skills and his tailor made treatment sessions are extremely focused and specific. The credo here is one therapist for one patient at a time. No running from patient to patient. His treatment regimens are detailed and he progresses his treatments step by step as improvements occur. This is the antithesis of one size fits all. He has made a world of difference in my level of function and comfort. I can not thank him enough.

How does this place have a 5-star rating? I went in for an exam and will never go back. The waiting room is overcrowded and there's no way to socially distance. I heard one of the older therapists telling somebody he was working with anti-mask nonsense AND another therapist had somebody walking on a treadmill with no mask on. I looked it up and the two people I mentioned are the OWNERS OF THE CLINIC. This place is a COVID super-spreader waiting to happen even if they say they "check temperatures".

Rene, who is my therapist, understands so much about the human anatomy and knows exactly what is causing my balance issues and we work on training my brain to relearn how to control my balance and gait. I finally took the plunge to get physical therapy after trying a bunch of other things to help manage my pain. I've seen so much improvement since coming although it has taken a lot of discipline to make time to do my exercises at home it has definitely been worth it to see the results. I was very reluctant to commit to an extended period of physical therapy but Shraddhali has been so supportive, encouraging, and kind that I will be very sad to leave once my sessions are done . My hip is strong and pain free after following her program for 6 weeks . Treatment is always one-to-one and I have never been left waiting. ProFitness Physical Therapy is a wonderful place. The staff is courteous, professional and caring to your needs. Cynthia at the front desk is a joy to greet when you first come in which gives you that security needed due to the trauma you are experiencing. Most of all and most importantly my personal Physical Therapist RENE RIVERA is the BEST. I had a full hip replacement. He gives you the confidence during your session by explaining to you all the different exercises needed to get better, why I feel pain in certain places and what to do to relieve the pain. He shows concern with respect to your pain level and does not push you more than what you can do. Always asking "are you ok" or "let me know if you have too much pain" or "we will work at your pain level". In my book Rene is a GREAT therapist, he is a professional at his work but most importantly, as a client he truly works hard with you to help you want to get better. He has a way of lifting your spirits. I hold the highest respect for him and recommend him highly. ProFitness Physical Therapy is the place to go for post-operative therapy. Thank you.

I came to ProFitness to treat a condition that caused a lot of pain and restricted my shoulder and arm movement. After a few weeks of treatment the pain was gone, and by week 6 my range of motion was nearly back to normal. Helen Li was very professional, knowledgeable, and direct. I spent the better part of 5 months going to ProFitness in Brooklyn, both Telehealth and in-person appointments, to cure adhesive capsulitis, ligament and muscle tears in my right shoulder. Have been going to ProFitness - Brooklyn Heights for just over 3 months rehabilitating a shattered wrist. My PT Helen Li has been amazing during this time. Straight forward in her approach and knowledgable in methods. I have gone from having virtually no mobility and strength in my wrist, hand and arm to being closer to normal functionality. My physical therapist was AWFUL. She was totally uninvested in my recovery, gave me bad advice that set my post-surgery rehab back by months. I had knee surgery a year ago and I'm still dealing with the fallout from having had sub-par care for months after surgery. The physical therapist I ultimately switched to told me she had me doing exercises that were totally inappropriate and I could have really hurt myself. Maybe some of the therapists are ok, but this woman was HORRIFIC

I had a great experience with Profitness. Peabro was amazing and made the 8 weeks of recovery after my surgery much easier and more enjoyable. He was super knowledgeable and encouraging. I'd definitely recommend!

This place is great! Dustin has quietly and systematically set me on the road to recovery (from a massive spine surgery). I am most thankful for the treatment I have received. I highly recommend Pro Fitness Therapy.

I was incredibly impressed with the physical therapy I received from Dustin. Not only did he help wuth my condition, he was incredibly knowledgeable about what he was doing and taught me a lot about the mechanics of my body. I will definitely return to ProFitness in the future if I need PT and will specifically request Dustin.
